Hello Leamington neighbours! We've got an update on a planning application concerning a rather significant oak tree at 46 Lillington Road. It looks like some pruning and limb reduction is being considered due to decay, which could affect safety for those using the nearby footpath and road.

Oak T1 - Reduce the main canopy of the tree by roughly 2-3 meters. Due to the tree having decay in the main stem and Ganoderma brackets a the base of the tree as well as helping to balance the canopy causing concerns of safety for the road footpath and properties within falling distance. - the two lowest limbs on the north and west side of the tree with extensive decay to be significantly reduce (4-5 meters) or remove completely if the decay is deemed too extensive once in the tree(photographs evidencing the decay will be sent to the council if this is the case). due to how close these limbs are to the public footpath and road these limb would fall straight into traffic or pedestrians. - Crown clean the canopy. to include the removal of any dead or dangerous limbs once in the canopy. šŸ“ 46 Lillington Road, Leamington Spa, CV32 5YZ šŸ“‹ Ref: W/26/0403 šŸ“ Type: Trees šŸ“Š Status: Received - Awaiting Validation
